Television actress Rubina Dilaik, who is enjoying her pregnancy phase, took to her official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle on Wednesday to request everyone to stop bursting crackers. In her tweet, she mentions how people have been bursting crackers even till 3 in the morning even though Diwali is over. She goes on to write, “ENOUGH NOW…. Air pollution toh hai hi ….  Noise pollution is killing our sleeps…..” Well, it is safe to say that her tweet did not go down well with the social media users who lashed out at her.

Many even went as far as to call her anti-Hindu and schooled her for ‘teaching’ them about Hindu festivals. From nasty messages on her Instagram handle to her name being trended on social media, people have been calling her out for her tweet. Sharing screenshots of the rude and disrespectful comments on her post, she slammed all the faceless trollers. In a series of tweets, she called out the netizens. She wrote, “Don’t come and comment on my Instagram….. its NOT GYAN , Mr. Intelligently Dumb Vipul Shrisath! A few hours later, the 34-year-old actress went on to share a tweet stating how Diwali is a festival of lights. Her clarification still did not go down well with the netizens who took to the comment section of the post to show her ‘proofs’ that firecrackers have been a part of Diwali celebrations for a long time. Some even called her a hypocrite by sharing clips of her bursting crackers with her family and friends in a recent vlog.





On the work front, Rubina Dilaik will be next seen in the Punjabi film Chal Bhajj Chaliye. She was last seen as a finalist in the celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10. She was also a part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 and made a Hindi film debut with Palash Muchhal’s Ardh in 2022, which starred Rajpal Yadav in the lead role. She is currently busy enjoying her pregnancy alongside Abhinav Shukla.
